The people’s deputy I.Klympush-Tsyntsadze is co-chairperson of the Group
on the part of the Verkhovna Rada. 17 people’s deputies of Ukraine participated
in the meeting. The people’s deputies raised the issue of increasing humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and pooling efforts to fight Russian propaganda, particularly, propagandist Russian TV channels that distort the reality.
Ukrainian deputies stand for prohibiting broadcast of TV channels that violate journalistic standards and stir up international hostility. The European deputies – friends of Ukraine came to the meeting wearing badges with the photo of Nadiia Savchenko in sign of supporting the Ukrainian deputy who has been illegally detained in the Russian prison for 9 months already, and whose life is in danger. Politicians made a joint appeal to immediately liberate Nadiia.
The Parties discussed also the issue of increasing cooperation in the field of adapting legislation and carrying out reforms. The European deputies – friends of Ukraine plan to open an office in Kyiv in the nearest time in order to activate joint trends of cooperation with Ukraine.
